The man suspected of mowing down pedestrians in a bloody rampage Monday in Toronto expressed his support—just moments before the attack—for a mass murderer who became a hero of the fringe men’s rights movement.

A Facebook official confirmed the authenticity of Minassian’s post to The Daily Beast on Tuesday and noted that his account has been removed from the social media site.

Elliot Rodger killed six people during a 2014 shooting spree in Isla Vista, California, after planning his anti-women revenge rampage for more than a year. The 22-year-old called himself an “incel,” or an involuntary celibate, a phrase invoked by men’s rights activists who feel rejected by women.

Rodger killed himself at the conclusion of his attack, leaving behind a 137-page manifesto that described how he felt shunned by women and sought revenge. He had also reportedly showed an interest in Nazis and had conducted internet searches about how to “silently kill” with a knife.

Regarding why so many of these killing sprees involve men. Basically they believe feminism and female empowerment within our society is putting 'average and below' men at a disadvantage in the dating scene. They make points such as 20 percent of men getting 80 percent of the women throughout the main dating phase of life. Eventually the problem ends in the late twenties or early thirties when women are finally willing to settle for a similar smv(sexual market value) man to start a family.

While killing sprees are never the answer, there are some real dating inequalities in our society. Just look at a dating site, an average looking man will get almost no attention unless he's rich. An average look woman will literally be flooded with messages. Part of the issue is that dating sites seem to have far more men than women...what is the cause of this? The only answer you can logically come up with is that men must have a harder time getting dates unless they're some kind of stud, or willing to date two+ points below their smv. I've dealt with this myself in dating and it's a real thing.

Also just look at and read the various support sites for so called incels, why are the no female counterparts? I'm not defending some of the mysogynistic views they have, but there is a real issue going on and society is having real issues from it.

I read Roger's "manifesto" after his rampage. He evidently thought it would show the injustice against him, but something else was plain as day: any time he was even mildly prodded outside his comfort zone (e.g., told to go outside and play with the other kids on the block, or a trip to another country to visit relatives) he completely freaked out.

I couldn't find an instance wher he so much as talked to a girl, much less get rejected by anyone. Apparently beautiful women were supposed to just fall at his feet unbidden, which is on par for a guy who was convinced he'd win the lottery because he really wsnted it.

He was FUCKED UP. Period. So is anyone deluded enough to think he was some kind of martyr.

Those people are missing a chunk, but it ain't from any pyramid.

They want to contract for a female servant (by 'buying' her from her father or brother, not by pleasing her personally), and they don't give one damn about HER feelings about it. Women are all second class citizens who should just get on with their main reason for existing -- supporting and fucking men unconditionally.

These men will rarely attract women because they have earned themselves the label of "creep." THAT'S the problem. What they do with that knowledge is up to them -- no man is entitled to female companionship, just like no woman is entitled to male companionship. We are talking about humans here, and no human has to f**k you unless he/she wants to. It's not women's fault that men have constant, massive drive for sex 24/7 -- it's something men must deal with themselves.
