Tennessee shooter's Mom is a "Christian" nutcase.

She pined for the days when kids in public schools had religion forced on them.
That's when everything was all hunky-dory!

Waffle House shooting suspect’s mom complained mass shootings began after Jesus booted from public schools

The mother of the man accused of shooting up a Tennessee Waffle House early Sunday morning that resulted in four deaths and a nationwide manhunt, once posted a meme on Facebook that claimed mass shootings were the end result of removing the Ten Commandments and Bible readings from the classrooms.

Travis Jeffrey Reinking, 29, was captured on Monday after a 36-hour search by over 160 law enforcement officials. More details are now being released about his background — including his affiliation with right-wing extremist groups.

Additionally it was revealed that the accused shooter’s father, Jeffrey Reinking, gave his son his weapons back after they were confiscated when the young man menaced the White House, leading him to being taken into custody in the Secret Service in July 2017.

According to the Friendly Atheist, Reinking’s mother inserted herself into the gun debate on Facebook in 2015 by suggesting that mass shootings like the one her son allegedly committed can be blamed on removing God from the classroom.

Anyone who feels God or lack thereof is creating all the problems in the world can take the next express elevator to the Hell of their choice and leave the rational people alone.

That's my sentiment in regards to mass-killers. Nutcases (religious, political, artistic, etc.), if benign, are irrelevant to me.

Sometimes the nut and the religious intersect with horrible consequences. Sometimes the nut and the political intersect in the same way. But if the irrational nutcase merely lops off his ear and calls it art, no big deal.

Remove the nut, and many problems are gone.

Will she take ANY responsibility for how he turned out?

Or is now a convenient time to claim that there was nothing they could do due to his mental illness?

<Judy Reinking shared a post from Christian Warriors stating: “I don’t remember a single school shooting when I was a kid. What I do remember is our teacher having us begin the day reciting the pledge of allegiance, reading from the Bible and praying. We also had the Ten Commandments on the wall. Maybe getting rid of those things wasn’t such a good idea after all!”>

Let's not hyperbolize. Lots of dipshits shared that post. Lots of dipshits don't understand the difference between correlation and causation.

My Trumpist Aunt has shared such FB sentiments as well, and she's a cafeteria Catholic who's never fired a gun.
