LIVE: 2 Dallas police officers shot and critically wounded

Two Dallas police officers have been shot and critically wounded, the police department said Tuesday afternoon. A civilian was also injured in the shooting.

Dozens of Dallas police officers and emergency vehicles have surrounded a Home Depot parking lot in the city's north side.

KXAS, the NBC affiliate in Dallas, says the scene is in the 11600 block of Forest Central Drive.

Helicopter video shows officers searching for the suspect in a nearby creek.

"Please pray for our officers and their families," DPD tweeted.

2 Officers, One Civilian Shot At Dallas Home Depot

NORTHEAST DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Two police officers and one civilian were shot at a Home Depot after a shoplifting call turned violent.

It happened in the 11600 block of Forest Central Drive near the Hamilton Park neighborhood.

The Dallas Police Department said both of the officers are in critical condition.
