no, they didn't. of course they didn't.
but can you imagine if hillary had won and this was even a rumor, let along something supporting from multiple sources?
it would not just be a huge scandal, it would "suck the oxygen" out of every other story.
hillary would not be able to give a speech or a rally or do anything without the media completely changing the topic back to this scandal.
it would be non-stop and people would be screaming for impeachment and "lock her up". they wanted her in prison for possible technical administrative oversights that might have theoretically made classified information available to hackers. they wanted her in prison for theoretically having some sort of "pay to play" approach with her private chariable foundation.
and then here she is trading powers of office to pay russians to commit espionage on americans. they'd want her hanged.
but with donnie, this is just another story that's kinda out there, yeah, maybe he'll lose a few points in the polls, maybe mueller eventually something maybe, but can he even indict, will democrats even impeach, they certainly cant get him removed, maybe they won't bother.
so the media covers the story and then moves on and lets donnie continue to talk about whatever he wants to talk about, including maybe getting us into a war somewhere.
the double standard is staggering.
