...they cannot expect to be promoted over tested and proven Democrats in critical races. I like Richard Painter because he is willing to speak out about the Dotard in the White House. He could probably garner a lot of Independent and disenchanted Republican votes if he ran? Along with some Democratic votes, he could be a very strong opponent?

upcoming primary in Minnesota. That may not have a positive effect in November. I like Painter's criticisms of Trump's unethical behavior, but he is also a long-time Republican. If ethics are his primary concern, I worry about his competence to serve as one of Minnesota's Senators.

We miss Al Franken more every day.

If he thinks he can beat the current D senator, why not do it as his GOP self?

Now don't get me wrong:

I think Richard Painter is a decent human being, and if he gets the Democratic nomination I'd root for him over whoever the Republicans put up.

But it rather not have a candidate who as recently as last month still believed that the old-school Republicans would rise up and retake the past away from the crazies from within.If he wants to bring back the mythical "Center Right" I don't want him doing it I our party.
