Moments ago, we filed this lawsuit against Mr. Trump for his recent irresponsible and defamatory statements about my client @stormydaniels. He is well aware of what transpired and his complicity. We fully intend on bringing it to light. #buckleup #basta

(15,805 posts)Lawyers are expensive. All these court proceedings cost money. I truly love the man, and Michael Avenatti seems like a very good lawyer, so his fees aren't cheap, but who is paying the bills? He's everywhere, flying from coast to coast, appearing in courtrooms, doing a media blitzkrieg, attending gala events, and all that stuff costs a lot of money.
So who's the Sugar Daddy bankrolling him, it can't be just Stormy Daniels the ex porn star, can it?

(115,748 posts)He's been successful enough in his law practice to bankroll himself for the litigation costs, so I think he has future employment prospects in mind (maybe as a cable TV legal analyst).

Besides, doing this pro-bono puts him a position of looking like a good guy, plus a high powered lawyer willing to take on PINO.
He'll make the money back easily, even if it's his own bankroll.

(2,833 posts)Just the cases he's been involved with that are listed at Wikipedia have total verdicts of about $650 million dollars. I'm thinking his share of fees on that much money has left him with the ability to buy a few airplane tickets and to handle contigent fee cases without needing any backing but his own checkbook.

Be clear: the only source of outside funds for the legal fight we are waging is the http://crowdjustice.org site and Ms. Daniels personal funds. No PACs, no political party, no special interests, no fat cat donors. The haters need to come up with a new conspiracy theory. #basta

(8,287 posts)I mean, he's a lawyer and a damn smart one at that. He's going to try to figure out every angle they are going to throw at him long before this started right?
He seems like a terribly smart person to take on IQ45 and his administration and be one step ahead of them.
I hope he can take him (dump truck) down.
