An important point about Michelle Wolff's routine.

I had almost forgotten this. Typically the comic doesn’t get the last word. The president follows and throws some clever barbs of his own, thus revealing that he/she can take it and give back, and that it is a satisfying toe-to-toe among equals and rivals.

45’s cowardice made him and the voiceless staff victims, not equals as they should have been. They are banking on that victimization while they circle around and backstab.

If I could ask Sarah one question it would be “How does it feel that he was so scared he didn’t show up to stand up for you?”

Remember? Obama used to do his thing, and then the comic came on after and looked kind of sick , because the O knew how to land a joke.

Still, O has good timing.

The only retort he would be able to offer is "Get her out of there", "Go back to San Fransisco", "I'll pay your legal bills if you punch her".

He's a humorless, witless, troglodyte.

I respect her right to do the routine and understand why people defend that. But she wasn’t quite clever enough for my taste. Still...

I would like to express my support of Michelle Wolf and her spot-on comedic routine that exemplified strong character and patriotism in a time that we all - but most of all the fourth estate - should be calling out the opprobrious behavior of all of the Trump Administration. Anyone who apologizes for her or calls her routine "inappropriate" or anything other than brilliant should take a hard look in the mirror and question their own patriotism. We are all like frogs in a pot that is being brought to a slow boil. It is precisely because of the greed of the networks and the lack of accountability by the Washington Press Corp to begin with that Trump (with help from Russia) managed to pull of the heist of the election of 2016. Had ANYONE in the MSM bothered to cover anything other than empty podiums awaiting the arrival of DT while carrying on about Hillary's emails, we might not be in the mess we are in now as a country. It was a pleasure to watch her hold each and every one who participated in the Trump fest prior to the election accountable. She deserves praise, not scorn.

I encourage everyone to post something in support of Michelle there. She deserves our support.

It did not go well.

He just came off sounding mean. He's right not to try again. He's still a coward, though.

Let alone irony, etc.

Literacy and frontal-brain thinking is not valued.

More brain stem like the amygdala - fear, lust, reptilian emotions. I can't think of anyone in the current administration that is lacking normal cerebral processing... Oh, wait.
