When/if Trump pulls out/scuttles/sabotages the Iran deal
The press ought to ask Sarah Huckabee Sanders an incessant flurry of questions like this:
"Did President Trump have an accurate understanding of the parameters of the JCPOA?"
"What specifically has President Trump said in your presence that would convince the American people that he understood what is in the JCPOA?"
"Has President Trump read the JCPOA himself in its entirety?"
"How much of the JCPOA has President Trump read himself?"
"Can President Trump correctly describe the obligations of each party under the JCPOA?"
"Does President Trump know the 'Iran deal' has a formal name?"
"When did President Trump learn the 'Iran deal' was actually called the JCPOA and who told him?"
"When was President Trump first briefed on the entire content/parameters of the JCPOA who performed that briefing, when was it, and how long did it last?"
etc.
We all know he's ignorant, lazy, irresponsible, and ignores process/procedures. The press needs to stop pretending we don't all know that (even his supporters know it, but see it as a feature, not a bug). Is SHS going to lie, change the subject, feign outrage, or say "i don't have the answer to that"...? Of course she is. But the press should challenge SHS at every turn to overtly lie about it instead of letting her skate past unchallenged in the assumption/insinuation that he is doing something through normal, responsible processes/procedures.
