Trump Will, No Doubt, Come Back from Meeting Kim Jong Un with an Agreement

That agreement will probably not be a terrific one, though, for anyone. But, he desperately needs this to succeed. So much so that he will accept whatever terms Kim lays out, as long as they can be made to sound good on Twitter.

Our balding President has backed himself into a corner. He claims to be a strong negotiator, but will be negotiating from a very weak positions in this matter. He doesn't care. He will make a deal, even if it is a poor one. Then, he will sing his own praises loudly, if off-key and atonal.

Trump is incompetent to negotiate anything at this level. Kim has given up three useless hostages. Trump will give up everything to come home with a deal. He has very little choice, really. Russia and China will add further encouragement.

We are so screwed!

U.S. Offered North Korea Trump Hotel and Casino as Incentive to Halt Nuke Program
MAY 5, 2017 by R. HOBBUS J.D.

PYONGYANG, Dprk. – U.S. officials met in secret with a delegation from North Korea last month to iron out the details of a historic agreement that will allow the Trump Organization to open a luxury hotel and casino in Pyongyang as an incentive for the regime to dismantle its nuclear program, a senior State Department official told The Wall Street Journal on Friday.

“North Koreans may soon find themselves enjoying all the benefits and experiences that a five-star luxury resort has to offer,” State Department spokesperson Stacy Friedman told The Journal. Under the agreement, the United States will purchase the Ryugyong Hotel, a 105-story pyramid-shaped skyscraper located in Pyongyang, for $850 million before turning ownership of the property over to the Trump Organization. “Ultimately, North Korea will pay us back for the cost of the hotel,” explained Ms. Friedman before adding that the five-star resort will provide a significant boost to North Korea’s struggling economy.

While the United States does not maintain official contact with the country’s reclusive leadership, officials have expressed confidence that North Korea’s Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un will be “extremely satisfied” with Pyongyang’s Trump International Hotel and Casino. “One of the more visually stunning aspects of this property is its sheer size, especially when compared to the Trump World towers in Seoul,” a senior White House official who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the press, told The Washington Times.

In addition to becoming one of Asia’s most sought after vacation destinations, the Trump International Hotel and Casino in Pyongyang could serve as an impromptu embassy for the United States. “You’re going to have a very neutral environment where American and North Korean officials can get together and socialize,” Michael Winthrop, who served as an adviser to former U.S. Ambassador to South Korea Mark Lippert, told Real News Right Now. “Regardless of your political leanings, this is a clear opportunity to establish some form of common ground.”

Kim gets off on making players move. He is milking it for all it’s worth and getting the best for his regime. We are talking a country with extremely limited capabilities in even testing ICBM’s these days.

IMO this is just a distraction from his criminal deeds coming to light and he doesn't think NK is dangerous anyway. I truly don't think they will attack us absent strong provocation. Iran is much more worrisome to me. He really does want a war there, the stupid fool.

not far down the road. What that unified Korea will look like politically, I can't predict, though. Odds are that China will play a huge role in it, so it might be something like what happened in Hong Kong. Our military will probably end up leaving. South Korea's industrial and economic base will remain in place and operate pretty much as it does now.

Kim Jong Un will probably be reduced to a figure-head role, with China dictating what he does and does not do. Trade will continue as it does now, between the west and the new Korea.

If you want an example to look at, check out Vietnam. I expect a similar arrangement in Korea.

Trump will be fine with all this, thanks to support, along with some serious pressure, from his buddies in Russia and China. Trump don't care. Korea means nothing to him.

I agree that he doesn't give a hoot about NK, this is just a distraction and a favor to the only person besides himself who matters to him - Putin.

Will claim he saved the world with lie after lie , when we'll probably discover Kim kept up his program, but to produce these nuclear weapons all along knowing how stupid rump is, and get away with it. Kim will also falsely claim a huge success for himself. The losers will be us, he'll have many weapons in his hands and able to use. Rump's a fraud again . Iran is also on the path of having nuclear weapons available very soon from the dummy rump violating the agreement made. Why would anyone actually believe anything he says he'll do.
