(12,327 posts)Not to mention, she actually lives in District 14, which neither of the Republicans can say.
Freedomofspeech
(4,227 posts)Her resume is outstanding. Neither Prigg nor Solomon live in District 14...that should not be allowed.

(12,327 posts)She apparently worked on the Conor Lamb campaign, too?

(15,289 posts)I wonder how much not living in the district will matter to voters?

(4,227 posts)She did so well!

(82,849 posts)Pretty dismal turnout; hope it picks up in the next 36 hours. Otherwise, your ballot and mine count six times.
Knute Buehler looks like the favorite to snag the Republican nomination for governor. Ready-made slogan: "Oregon has had enough of Republicans named Knute."
MerryBlooms
(11,770 posts)couple of months, so I'm hoping for a good turn out.

(5,376 posts)I too dropped my ballot off at one of many ballot boxes a few days ago. Today I went on the Oregon Secretary of State's website to verify its receipt, and sure enough, it was posted received on May 11. Also of interest, citizens are allowed to observe the vote count in their local county clerk's office. So far I haven't asked to do that, but I must say I love that this option is available.

(9,130 posts)I plan to vote for Susan Boser for Congress and John Fetterman for Lt Gov.
Sen Casey and Gov Wolf are unopposed.

(12,327 posts)He's a good guy.

(15,289 posts)Conor Lamb is now unopposed for PA-17 D nomination.
I'll be keeping my eye on PA-4 to see if Joe Hoeffel can win his old seat.
Barletta and Christiana could be closer than people think. Western PA voters tend to turn out in higher numbers than in the east and Christiana is local who has been in state legislature for 10 years or so and is pretty well known.

(15,289 posts)all the original Dems vying to oppose Rothfus ended up withdrawing and endorsing Lamb. Two of the candidates are still on the ballot owing to dropping out too late to have their names deleted from the ballot, but votes for them won't count.

(12,327 posts)I'll be checking that out tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up.

(58,785 posts)Idaho and Oregon, then, have competitive Republican primaries for governor, while Nebraska has one key US House seat Democrats are targeting, and one of the few Republican-held US Senate seats that will be on the ballot this fall.

(15,090 posts)The 48th legislative special election to fill a vacancy in the state House is being hard fought between Clark Mitchell (D) and Tim ONeal (R).

(15,289 posts)HD-68 encompassing Bradford, Potter and Tioga Counties (northern NW Pa) Heath (D) vs Owlett (R)
HD-178 Bucks County (SE Pa Phila suburban ring) Tai (D) vs Thomas (R)
HD-48 Washington County (SW Pa) Mitchell (D) vs O'Neal (R) vs Agoris (L)
HD-68 is in a pretty red area, but it should test the strength of Dem women candidates vs Republican men in GOP friendly districts.
HD-178 should favor the Dems and has two women facing off.
HD-48 could be a swing seat. The Libertarian in the race could siphon GOP voters off O'Neal.
