The top photo reminds me of childhood. My parents never allowed the boys or the girl out of the bedroom without "proper" dress. Not sure if they were reflecting Puritans or Quakers?

Not bad. Just different.

I love the bottom picture. She's exceptional, of course...but man, did she get a great guy. And she fell in love with him when he was a nobody. That's what makes it so great. They fell in love with the person that each of them was.

Sigh. I wish that had happened to me. Unfortunately, I had a penchant for picking inferior men.
