Will The Roseanne Show Go The Way Of Last Man Standing And Tim Allen?....

Tim Allen's Last Mad Standing is coming back to the Fox.

Check out this link:

Allen always used to take shots at Obama which upset me when I watched the show. What kept me watching was it was always one of his daughters that would put him in his place and counter his shots to Obama and the Dems.

I believe that his show that ran for 6 seasons was cancelled because of Allen's political leanings and mouth. He will find a good new home with Fox.

I'm wondering if the Roseanne show will go that route as well. However, what I'm hearing from some of the cast members in their disgust with Roseanne and her tweet - I don't think many of the cast would follow her if given the opportunity. They are through with Roseanne.

It started about the third or fourth year in, at which point, I stopped watching (well, that, and the fact that the youngest daughter started dressing and acting like a skinhead). I felt it was as if someone flipped a switch.

9. I Sensed Politics From Tim Allen Right From The Beginning.....

not all of it was about Obama - but there were snide remarks made about Dems in general and guns.

I really liked the show. I watched it all the time. I'd get irritated when I'd here these remarks from Allen - but liked the fact that one or more of the daughters would take him to task. I was bummed when the show was cancelled. I will watch it again when it returns because it has a great supporting cast. Actually - I like Tim Allen as well. Watch his first show 'Home Improvement'. I didn't detect any politics in that show. Allen was great in the Santa Claus movies as well.

But I would say that I watched the show for a while, and then something felt different.

I don’t know why they got back into the show but I’m pretty sure they didn’t expect this. In general their reputations are quite lefty. It’s done.

The Talk filmed today before all he’ll broke loose. Tomorrow might be interesting given Sarah Gilbert’s involvement.

5. Last man standing had a pretty high viewership but did not make ABC money

ABC did not make own the show so it did not generate the income they were looking for it will get viewers for FOX but will probably cost them money too. It had something to do with owning the content.

Fox Studios owns LMS but is being acquired by ABC/Disney so it will all go back there anyway.
Irony.

7. I have met Tim Allen several times through my work in Hollywood and while we don't agree politically

there is a long, long, list of stuff Tim will talk about before the topic of politics.
Science fiction, the space program, and cars, cars, cars are his first choice of topics.
talking about the business and writing and production are also favored topics before politics so he's not a fixated one note guy.
But when he talks politics he's wrong.
