Shouldn't the deaths in Puerto Rico be receiving way more coverage

Last edited Fri Jun 1, 2018, 07:56 AM - Edit history (1)

That's more dead people than 9/11; more dead people than Katrina - why isn't this receiving more coverage even from M$Greedia, Democratic Reps and the scumbags who run the Federal government and the fugging Legislative branch.

Being covered now. As important as Tweet spew can be...

There is always so much excrement from this administration to pick up and put in dog poop bags that the media has to broaden it’s platform away from the reality show “show” and report on some other serious tragedies.

There are worthy victims, and there are the others that are victims. Puerto Ricans are brown and Spanish speaking, just like the people that Trump calls animals.

feel compelled to respond to all of Trump's lies and diversions.

Puerto Rico is being treated like the subjugated colony that it is. It is useful as a resource, and for cheap labor, but not valued.

As are all of the Central American, South American, and Caribbean countries.

I well remember the US outrage when your one time PM Michael Manley dared to deal with Fidel Castro.

There was a joke that I heard many years ago that is still applicable.

Q: What is the difference between the US and Canada and Mexico?

A: The US has good neighbors.

You know that the vast majority of the gangs that have ended up creating havoc in the US were welcomed originally since they were the right wing goons willing to overthrow home governments.

Is the silence of the grave. Our government abandoned American citizens in their time of need. And the President threw paper towels at them like they were there for his amusement.

This was an exhaustive study, done on the ground talking to thousands of residents and gathering their stories. To ignore this is, well, inhuman. I hope we're all contacting our representatives and demanding answers and aid for Puerto Rico.
