If the occupier of the white house pardons himself, we need to have a plan. If the occupier of the

white house fires Mueller, we need to have a plan. Now I know that we had a plan in case the occupier fired Mueller through MoveOn.org, but it's been a while now, and I think we should bring that plan out and dust it off, and perhaps update it. Personally, I think that we need a very strong response if he fires Mueller or issues pardons to his family members or himself. I don't care if the law allows him to pardon anyone including himself and members of his family. If he does it, it will be saying that He is above the law, and we will officially be a Banana Republic. We will no longer be a nation of laws, and not men, if he pardons himself and his children for crimes committed or alledged; or not yet alledged against him and/or members of his family. So if WE are no longer a nation of laws, than that means that there are no laws to be obeyed for any of us and chaos will reign. Why should the rest of the nation be accountable to our laws when the president believes he is not accountable to any of our laws?

Now mind you I am a law abiding citizen. I am a mother and a grandmother. I was a Girl Scout, a member of the LAPD Explorers Program as a teen, and I have served in the military. I have never been accused of a crime. But if the president pardons himself and his family, or any of those people known to be targets of Mueller's investigation, I will not continue to sit by while the occupier of the white house destroys our democracy. The gop congress knows what we are dealing with in the white house. McConnell refused to pass a law to protect Mueller so there is no government plan if he should choose to fire Mueller. Yes I know that there is the so called "plan" we heard about last week where members of Mueller's team hits the 'send' button or the 'emergency' button or whatever it was called, but this sense of chaos is no way to lead a nation. We're already rudderless with the current occupier of the white house and have been since he was inaugurated. That's what happens when you elect someone to the highest office of the land who has no principles and no moral scruples.

suggesting that he could pardon himself, and that this may have just been a dry run. A dry run to test the waters and once the nation had come to terms with the fact that he has the power to pardon anyone, we will come to accept it as we've done with everything else he has done since he came down the escalator at trump towers in June of 2015. All the pundits seemed to be in agreement that he can pardon anyone though not for a corrupt purpose. I think that he will test the process rather than agree to sit for an interview with Mueller. Since the gop are a bunch of spineless guppies, we can't expect anything that looks like a spine, from them. Nancy Pelosi doesn't want us to talk about impeachment prior to the elections and I can understand her reasoning for that. So we wait. I hope that Mueller has something that he can prosecute before September so we'll know something, and not just be left in this constant state of waiting for the next shoe to drop.

Be married 46 yrs. this year.

I have never in all my born days could have mentally conjured up a condition like the one presently plaguing our nation.

Dad saw action in Phillipines--Navy, WWII. So it galls me to consider what despicable acts have been foisted upon us.

I dint look forward to a cushy retirement, but this? And what about every kiddo's future?

I still am marginally 'banking' on law enforcement to do their thing. Other than that, it's November.

God Help Our Nation.

I left my job with the federal government at the end of 2015 after having a cardiac episode and requiring heart surgery. I know that this president stresses me out, but I can't bury my head in the sand and just ignore what he's doing to this nation, though I wish I could like a lot of people. However, I've always been a news junkie and a political junkie so trying to ignore what's going on would just be more stressful.

since November 2016, I've really stepped up my measure in activism like never before.

Barack as President gave me piece of mind stability. Now the 180° reversal.

There are mb many who are not being as vocal presently. But they may be doing a slow simmer.

I haven't 'fear' per se, but there's a tad of apprehension that surfaces at times.

Thank you for your military and federal service.

Peace be unto you and yours in these days,

~sprink
