13. You still have to get reelected to that 2nd 4-year term

Ask HW Bush. Also, Senate terms are 6 years, so one group of Senators would always coincide with the Presidential Election, that could be good or bad, not sure. I don't like the idea, jmho

...a 6 year term. In fact I don’t want anyone jacking with the Constitution at all.

I want it ammended for two reasons. First, to counter the CU decision by Roberts and second, to put limits on the President's pardon powers.

Times change and our Constitution needs to adapt to some degree. The process is a difficult one for good reasons but especially for my first reason is vital to our survival as a freeish country, imo.

4. I see what problem you are going at, but I disagree with your solution.

I think, you are trying to tackle that US politics are living from election-cycle to election-cycle and a longer term could ensure that Congress and WH have more time to actually work.

I see the following problems with your solution:
- This would mean too much time without accountability to voters. Six years is a lot.
- A President could do something similar to what Putin did with Medvedev: Get elected for a term, install a lackey for the second term, run again for the third term, maybe even get your lackey to run for the fourth term.

My suggestion would be simple: Restrict candidate-ads to 2 months before the election.
