(7,725 posts)thought they were real American bad asses. Their times coming. This country isn't going to fold. We made it to the wekend...again. He'll pay for every frown he graced on everyones face. And there are about 280 million of them...compared to the "alleged" 60 million Ted Nugents of the world. (another one with string bean arms and a big mouth.

(7,725 posts)And we said in unison at my house...."No, FUCK YOU!" Real bad asses when they know their guy will cheat at any turn. That dude would drop like a rock.
And as soon as someone hurts THEIR feelings, they go ballistic and want people fired, deported, or jailed.

(5,995 posts)When some random person, regardless of their notoriety, gets fed up and actually hits back at one of the White Wing icons, they seem to get the vapors and must lie down for awhile until those terrible people are dealt with.
We don't have to sink to their level, but the use of a bit of locker room talk can sometimes create an effect that extended eloquence often misses. That's particularly true when it comes to the deplorables.
And no, I don't support misogyny. The use of the c word by someone that has surely been called that and worse ought to get a mulligan.

(6,635 posts)sexism and misogamy, while Samantha's slur was an unfortunate lapse in decorum and she has apologized for it. Put another way, Republican Trump supporters are complete assholes and are deplorable examples of middle America.

(3,666 posts)how the righties hated Barr for butchering the National anthem and grabbing her crotch. Now that they found out how racist she is they love her. Boggles the mind.

(47,447 posts)It is right up there with the "N" word - the top two most offensive words in the English language, at least for me. It is even worse when a woman uses it.
Other than the offensive word, I totally agreed with what Samantha Bee said. I love her show. Many people haven't seen it and this outrage and controversy is giving her a lot of free publicity. Sometimes it take an icky word to get people's attention and Samantha Bee is definitely a voice worth listening to.

... I know, she is just a comedian.
In reality the political discourse would be improved if the Roseannes, Bill Mahars and Sam Bees would just cancel each other out and go away (as spokespersons for political movements)...

(22,124 posts)walk away. When we make a joke, they bitch and moan, and carry on like a spoiled brat, which is what exactly all of these people are acting like.
I guarantee you that a lot of the problems these people are having and bitching about, come about of their local policies that actually have nothing to do w/ economics, or the field (medical, etc.) involved, and has far more to do w/ morality (which really has no play here other than being used as a lightning bolt).
Politics is supposed to enhance the capabilities, not diminish the benefits of technology. If you'll look, areas of the US which are growing in economic strength are big in technologies and leading the way for more economic growth.

(32,639 posts)I'm so-o-o tired of hearing about how liberals have no sense of humor. We don't laugh at their "jokes" - but they only call it a joke when they realize it's an indefensible insult. Their jokes are nothing to laugh at.
When the shoe is on the other foot, do they laugh at our jokes? Hell no, they file lawsuits.

Yet another diversion from the real issues and crimes.
