If you're talking about the GOP Enablers, good luck with that.

Only way to return to common sense is to vote out the Deplorables this fall.

Not only that, but Queen Elizabeth told the US that she would welcome our coming back to England with open arms right after tRump was elected president. How sad is it that this almost looks preferable to what is happening in our country. It is so hard having a Disgusting pResident. Please, let's remove him ASAP. Get out the vote!!!

understand how they just blew up our Economy. It takes 3-5 years to retrofit a outdated Mill and put the raw material infrastructure in place, By then,we are in a major Depression.

Canada isn't exactly in a position to fight this for long. Nearly 3/4 of their trade is with us. They are running a budget deficit, and their economy is showing signs of a real estate bubble getting ready to burst. Further, unless things have changed, they are already dealing with a trade issue with India over agricultural and food products.

It is all about supply chains. We are many times more at risk than Canada. I can remember when our Trade with Canada was subject to a all kinds of tariff's. And Canada just said, okay,we will trade with the Europeans and the Australians. This is one of the reason's fro NAFTA was the open Canada to US Goods.

Remember the Eighties and early Nineties. If you lived in Minnesota,Wisconsin,or Michigan and you wanted to buy a new Ford or Chevy Wagon or Pick up. You wanted a Canadian Built rig because of their higher National Product Standards. Who wants another US made Rust Bucket.

by a former Economic's Guru. Tariffs would pull down GDP by 1% at a minimum. We are only do a 2% GDP growth at present and a 1% down drift as well as the increase in Interest Rates, which is already bake into the cake, will cause a negative growth problem.

First will be price increases which pull disposable income down, which is happening as we speak with the Gas Prices and the increase Freight Sure Charges are doing at this time.

As you are aware,we are a Consumable Economy and these forces will drive our Nation into a major downturn. This story about Benz today will cause a major ripple effect.

Most of us had a taste of this Kudlow Tariff garbage with Bush and Cheney. It only lasted a few months, but it tip our economy towards recession and complete recession when part two of that stunt kicked in with the Banks going unregulated.
