Steel Mills that Donnie's wealthy friends are going to build in Pennsylvania. Surly this will happen cause Donnie promised them angry old White Folks who voted for him, that this was the truth. So,certain Steel workers are seeing the light.

You left that part out.

It is doubtful that any tariffs will create motivation to build new steel mills here in the US, and even if it did, the actual manpower to run them would be much reduced from those of the 60's-70's.

Yeah, chances are tariffs will not create any meaningful number of jobs and will just make shit more expensive.

we do not have the quality of Iron Ore to even consider building any Plants. Any new Plants will be built in India or Pakistan. The Gupta family as well as the Putin Oligarchs seem to be the faces of the Steel Industry.

The new steel mills would be powered by coal.

A newly resurgent energy source that is environmentally friendly.

In an interview with a combative Chuck Todd, Leo Gerard, President of the United Steelworks, praised the effect of President Trump's newly proclaimed tariffs would have on the U.S. steel market. Gerard praised Trump for making it clear he is going to "tackle trade deficits" which he called a "wealth transfer" because they are "taking good jobs away."

Gerard said Trump was able to "see the steelworker agenda" and "he's going to have a major impact on our members" with what he has done.

"It's going to make it very hard for our members to ignore what he just did and what makes me sad is we've been trying to get Democrats to this for more than 30 years," Gerard told Todd.
