Question: Who wrote the notes re: Trump's meeting with Russians where he talks about Comey?

From the May 19, 2017 New York Times article reporting on the meeting, it only says an "administration official" relayed the notes to the Times:

WASHINGTON — President Trump told Russian officials in the Oval Office this month that firing the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, had relieved “great pressure” on him, according to a document summarizing the meeting.

“I just fired the head of the F.B.I. He was crazy, a real nut job,” Mr. Trump said, according to the document, which was read to The New York Times by an American official. “I faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off.”

****

The White House document that contained Mr. Trump’s comments was based on notes taken from inside the Oval Office and has been circulated as the official account of the meeting. One official read quotations to The Times, and a second official confirmed the broad outlines of the discussion.

The articles quotes our old friend Sean Spicer--White House Press Secretary at the time--as not disputing the contents of the notes, but it doesn't officially name who took the notes or provided them to the Times.

Of course, Trump himself seems to have confirmed his motivations behind firing Comey when he was interviewed with Lester Holt, but having separate confirmation of his motives and the fact that Trump went as far as to discuss it with the Russians himself, is still important.

So who wrote the notes, and why did they write the notes?

Not sure who the others are. I'm thinking the lady in red might be a translator, and the other men in the picture strike me as being Russian. Curious about the woman in the doorway.
