https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2018/06/01/politics/avenatti-bankruptcy-lawsuit-stormy/index.html?__twitter_impression=trueIts interesting reading. The guy who filed sounds sleazy af but not outside the pale for a footman doing freelancing for a law firm.
The spin is going to be interesting though.

(2,550 posts)I don't understand why people with shady backgrounds go on the news. Ie:. Michael Cohen, Roger Stone etc.
Stormys lawyer could've made a ton of money in regular private practice without exposing himself but now he's lost a ton of credibility.
Makes no sense.

(2,550 posts)Seems super shady to me.
He's getting things done in Trump world but I don't see him having an innocent past after this article.

(41,963 posts)I might be living in a tv fueled fantasy but people who do street work for law firms are familiar with the street.

(463 posts)I know Stormy Daniels and attorney. That's about it.
The only reason I'm mentioning it is because I think it's kind of interesting. It seems like there are two entirely different types of politically interested people - those who watch a lot of cable news and those who don't.
I see no cable news. I'm working all day, and when I come home at night, bf and I just catch up on shows and things. That's not a judgement against those who do enjoy cable news. We all have our things. I read Reddit all day while at work.
It's just interesting he's this massive celebrity in cable news circles and here on DU. But, I'd comfortably bet 95% of Americans have no idea who this man is.
