Republican - white Republican - amplifies racism by blaming Obama for cop violence

@NatashaBertrand
....@RickSantorum says on CNN that Obama exacerbated racism because he often took black people’s side over the police. 🤔 🧐

While a lot of Democrats - white and black - are calling out racially biased cops, Republicans are amplifying racism by trying to deflect onto Obama.

The Democratic Party is a party that wants a fair shake for all Americans. White Democrats are allies of black Democrats. It is white Republicans who are trying to hold down minorities (because the Republican electoral strategy requires appealing to racists to get votes for billionaires.)

I’m a member of the Democratic Party, which is a big tent for all Americans who want to provide a fair shake for everyone. I’m an ally of every Democrat, regardless of race. Let’s do this in November. Get out the vote, take back the country and let’s start building a society that treats everyone well.

Isn't he the guy who said “I don’t want to make black people’s lives better by giving them somebody else’s money” and then claimed he actually said "blah" people? Why on earth does CNN give ol' Frothy Mix a single nanosecond of air time?

I remember Obama choosing his words very carefully to say that things looked suspicious but not outright saying the police ever did anything wrong specifically.

Of course, Santorum is a big Roman Catholic and part of the deal there is the extremists, like him, think it is perfectly fine to lie when they are progressing what they feel is the right cause.
