There's no approximation on how much raw, frozen beef, pork and poultry products Puerto Rican company Supermercado Selectos recalled late Friday. Or why the USDA says the problem was found on May 23, but the last affected products were produced Thursday.
But here is what's known:
The products were made without federal inspection on various days over a nine-month period, from August 2017 through Thursday. And they went to a distributor, DGA Food Service, that sent the food to participants in the USDA's Head Start Child and Adult Care Food Programs (CACFP) in Puerto Rico.
That's according to Friday night's USDA written and posted recall notice.

The gops idea of bad government. Probably cat and dog food gets more inspection in this backwards time. AND it's hurricane season again....dt is waiting for the next one...so he can further ignore PR and relegate it to the trash bin of history. I'd like to toss a few rolls of paper towels to him.

pun intended, but not really funny.
I suspect there will be a lot of "development" in PR over the next few years, building resorts and shit.
