An FBI Agent Accidentally Shot Someone While Doing a Dance Floor Backflip

The victim was hit in the leg, and is expected to survive.

A party hardy off-duty FBI agent accidentally shot a fellow reveler in the leg as he pulled off a dance floor backflip at a Denver bar Saturday. Luckily, the man who was injured is expected to survive, and this latest tragicomic incident of American gun violence was caught on video.

The scene begins with the as-yet unnamed G-man busting a series of pretty lame moves, all with the confidence of an agent of the law who knows he’s got both a backflip and a Glock in his pocket. He flips backwards into a brief handstand, and his gun falls from his trousers. When the agent grabs for it, the weapon discharges into the crowd. The man tucks the gun back into his pants and exits the frame, his hands raised in the universal signal for “My bad.”

CNN reports that the victim was shot in the leg, and that the FBI agent has not been named because he hasn’t been arrested. Police are investigating, and Denver's district attorney's office will decide whether or not to file charges.

has been injured.

You would think that instinctually he would at least check with the people in the line of fire at once to see if anyone was shot.
