1. He's been campaigning against gerrymandering, too.

He's been hitting that pretty heavily.

In fact, he may be the ONLY public figure that I've heard taking a stand against that. It is one of the major reasons why we're in this mess.

And governor of California is a HUGE job. So i would prefer those who held public office previously.

6. I'm somewhat surprised that slime ball wasn't stoned to death by taxpayers

Sleazy Arnold met with ENRON execs and soon thereafter California taxpayers were saddled with a $9 billion ENRON debt for the screw job given to rate payers.

Arnold also met with Cheney's "energy group" as they mapped out the parceling out of Iraq after the easy takeover. Slimy character.
