increasing acidity in the oceans?

and the increase in temperatures isn't just more data.

what i didn't realize before is that you seem to advocate against the idea of human induced climate change.

the Atlantic. The normal current flows north past Africa and Europe before turning west then south as it goes past Iceland and Greenland and Iceland has been experiencing an upswing in volcanic activity offshore.

ironically, if it's the other explanation and we are the cause (or a primary cause), then that means we can do things to arrest it.

i think the patterns will become more extreme. the late 70`s were like this around here. dry,dust storms,and snirt. then record snow fall the next few years.

the last 5-6 years in northern il set records for rainfall and this year 12+inches less than average.

and this year is not projected to be 2005 bad but there are three systems around and it's the first week in August.
Should be interesting next week.

The experts are telling us that Ernesto will pass South West of Jamaica - we hope they are right but we're prepared for the worst which shouldn't be more than a Cat1 hurricane. The best thing about Ernesto so far is that he's moving very fast.

and Ernesto does not slow down or turn north or north west. That said he shouldn't be more than a Cat1 if he decides to mess up Jamaica's 50th birthday party on Monday.
