Trump may offer to host Kim Jong Un at Mar-a-Lago for second summit: report

President Trump is considering offering to host North Korean leader Kim Jong Un at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida for a follow-up summit if necessary following their scheduled summit in Singapore in June, Bloomberg reported.

The Florida summit, which could reportedly be offered in the fall, would likely only happen if both leaders get along well, according to Bloomberg reports.

Trump and Kim will meet in Singapore on June 12 at the Capella Hotel for a summit to discuss North Korea’s nuclear capabilities.

The White House has yet to announce an official schedule other than saying the two leaders will meet at 9 a.m. on June 12 and, if the meeting goes well, further events are expected for later in the day and possibly the day after.

Trump has been advised not to concede anything to Kim in an effort to put pressure on North Korea to make the summit a success, Bloomberg reports.
