Chuck Todd, the lede on your obituary: "handwringing, bloviating hypocrite abetted the GOP"

For Chuck Todd yesterday to pretend to fret, to bemoan, that the affair with Bill Clinton would be the lede on Monica Lewinsky’s obituary was another disgusting display of double standards and primitive disrespectful misogyny.

News flash, chuck: Monica is still alive, hopefully has decades of life ahead of her, and you don’t know what the sum of her life will be, because it isn’t FINISHED yet. If she goes on to have an illustrious career in global justice or becomes a bestselling author, it is possible for a woman — even her — NOT to be defined by a youthful indiscretion with a famous man. Except for the fact that boring tired hacks like YOU keep regurgitating the same smear and crying the same crocodile tears. The fact that our media still talks about this says more about media and about our culture than it does about Monica.

Grow, Monica, grow! and prove that stupid Toady Todd wrong.

Further, if you ACTUALLY cared what happened to her as a person, the way you are pretending to, you’d stop dragging this long-past-its-sell-by-date laundry out yet again, using precious airtime to USE HER simply to drag a 71-year old former president through the mud AGAIN over a consensual affair.

Before we portray every man who has a relationship with someone who works lower down in an organization as an evil predator, let’s remember there are a whole lot of children walking around who know those couples only as “Mom and Dad”. Bill and Melinda Gates, for example, and millions of other couples, including my own sweet parents.

The Puritan streak in America is revolting, especially the way it is used by tongue-clucking men for political or financial gain. Stone-casting simple minds abound, who can’t absorb the wide range and nuances of human existence. Uggh.

4. Worse than Tweety. Tweety while being similarly egotistical, believes in doing the right thing. Toad

2. Todd should be more concerned about the lede on his own obituary

Instead of adhering to principles befitting a professional and serious journalist during his life, Todd chose a decidedly different journalistic path...

Wildly overrated excuse for a journalist, always ready to trash Democrats. A genuinely useless person.
