Make government work for the people instead of the corporations

DUers, do you think this would be a good talking point for the Democratic Party to run on?

It seems government by the people for the people is just not working out anymore for the American people. Twitler and the rethugs have been playing to the major corporations. Our supreme court is now corporate owned and twitler as president is a swamp creature who has filled our government up with corporate toadies. We need our government to be more responsive to the needs of Americans not the NRA, Pharmaceuticals, bankers, oil and gas industry etc. how about having legislators that really care about the needs of everyday working Americans.

It's good but people vote on things that impact them directly. On a national level that would be health care. Every state has its own issues and I think candidates need to focus on those.

of people). This is what is often cited for success in countries like Denmark that get high satisfaction ratings from citizens.

The fact is that most “everyday working Americans” work for corporations. Somehow we have to come up with a balance like Denmark.

I think our biggest problem is so much of our spending goes toward military, armaments, etc. Without that burden, we could provide all kinds of social programs, jobs stimulation, education, healthcare, etc.
