Ivana Trump wants to end obesity in America

No KFC for her.

We hear Ivana Trump is taking up Michelle Obama’s crusade — ending obesity in America.

We’re told President Trump’s first wife is hosting an event next week — at the Plaza Hotel no less, which the former couple ran together when Trump owned it in the late Eighties — to launch the initiative.

She’s working on the campaign with Gianluca Mech, inventor of the “Italiano Diet,” which promises followers can “eat pasta, cookies, and lose weight.”

Press material for the occasion, released to Page Six, says, “A new diet and exercise plan will be announced before they begin their tour of the United States to encourage and teach millions of people to have better eating habits and exercise.”

I Googled her alleged partner in this, and they seem to make Nutrisystem appear cheap yet utilize the same method.

I think Ivana definitely got a decent settlement in the divorce if she's somehow thinking this ritzy diet would be accessible to modt Americans.

no Trump does anything because it is the right thing.

Will this be a reason why GOPco will cut off all food help to the poor? Obesity? These people are sure crooked enough to try something like that.

my friend & I are planning a trip to NYC this fall and I called the Plaza to check on rates and availability (as it turns out, even though we plan to splurge, it's way out of our range). Before I did I said to the person I was speaking to "I just want to confirm that Trump doesn't own the Plaza anymore." The reply was "So many people ask that. No, we're owned by Fairmont."

was more interested in promoting "Healthy Lifestyle" that included healthy eating and exercise. Granted, if you eat healthy your going to much less likely be obese. But the difference is important. Everyone can (& should) eat healthy. Ivanka appears to be promoting some sort of "fad diet". I wonder if she's getting a kickback.
