Josh Dawsey @jdawsey1Trump is complaining about Canada PM Justin Trudeau and going to Canada for the G7. He is telling aides the trip won't be useful & that he doesn't want to be lectured. He also has griped extensively about Angela Merkel and Theresa May.
WaPo:
The president has vented privately about Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as their trade tensions have spilled into public view. He has mused about finding new ways to punish the United States northern neighbor in recent days, frustrated with the countrys retaliatory trade moves.
And Trump has complained to aides about spending two days in Canada for a summit of world leaders, believing the trip is a distraction from his upcoming Singapore summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, according to three people familiar with Trumps views.
In particular, the president said Tuesday to several advisers that he fears attending the Group of Seven summit in rural Charlevoix, Quebec, may not be a good use of his time because he is diametrically opposed on many key issues with his counterparts and does not want to be lectured by them.
Additionally, Trump has griped periodically both about German Chancellor Angela Merkel largely because they disagree on many issues and have had an uneasy rapport as well as British Prime Minister Theresa May, whom he sees as too politically correct, advisers say.
...chicken-shit weasel.

(13,360 posts)Well maybe he's upset that he can't understand half the stuff they are discussing. He is probably also not happy that it's gonna be 6 against one and he can't bully them as a unified group, much less in person.
Pussy.

(21,163 posts)When he comes near them have the other G6 leaders turn their backs on him. Shun him and have meetings without him.
I know thats a fantasy but it would be delish.

(5,810 posts)And be a safe distance from those he would torment or bully, he is all gung ho. Let him have to confront, face to face, those he would denigrate and he is a timid mouse. He is all bluff and bluster until he cant see the utility for a meeting where everyone is in the same room.
I would love to see him in such a setting and the other six attendees giving him exactly what he deserves. And that is exactly what he fears most. Expect him to go with a huge chip on his shoulder and an attitude to match. He will make a bad situation worse IF he goes. It would not surprise me if he drums up an excuse not to go. His staff and advisors are probably having to pamper and sooth him so he will go.

Such a big baby...
I agree w/ you, he needs to exactly hear what people truly think of him...he already knows it and is lashing out all of the time at his so called enemies (which is just about everyone on earth by now)...
Perhaps one of our UFO visitors will give him a one way trip to the sun and drop him in for us...
Ah, daydreams are so nice!
