Until this THING is out of office, I am black, I am gay, I am muslim, I am poor, I am trans, I am mexican, I am an immigrant, I am incarcerated for weed, I am a feminist deserving equal rights, I am against pedophlia (yes, that needs to be said).

Yes, I agree with you on your point, but women of all races and classes are, at this juncture, inherently unequal in the eyes of the law. There is a spectrum of inequality certainly, especially re: consequences and mitigating factors, but the fight is all of ours--inherently. We join others on that list and not merely out of support for the others, though that should be a given.

I don't "actively" care about skin color, gender, age. preferences in many dimensions. I put "actively" in quotes because I KNOW that I have absorbed some of my societal factors while growing up. Still I WANT to do what's good for the people and world around me.

Then, there are the people I really don't like. I don't care about their conservative/liberal biases or perhaps their not liking old/young people, or cats/dogs (really?). What I do care about are people that don't bother to listen and learn. People that have found a god or pundit that tells them what to do. It's pretty easy to move to the other sidewalk when I see them.
