(14,492 posts)This keeps Faux News from throwing shade, leading and baiting the interviewee. That girl in blue intentionally shows heavy cleavage to distract him and catch attention - this is not good journalism!

(7,809 posts)It was a fresh and novel way of communicating to the idiotic press who refuse to understand the message.
The message is NOT visiting the White House or the withdrawal of the invitation.
The message IS that the so-called "justice" system targets minorities for arrest, incarceration, and murder of people of color. With the dumm questions, they demonstrate over and over that they just don't get it and they aren't interested in finding out.

(48,955 posts)Gets points across - interspersed with "you aren't listening" - while implicitly making the point - that these sports stars have a platform that others do not have - as the reporters showed up to his press conference (in response to the spectacle the president created) to try to get this message out - and it is not about himself/the athletes selves.
Brilliant.
Powerful.
