Anthony Bourdain had a great impact on so many, such a loss.

Many years ago, I was in a bookstore and saw this book called "Kitchen Confidential." It looked interesting, so I bought it and read it.

It changed the way I look at food. Along with Nigella Lawson cookbooks and her shows on the Food Channel, Anthony Bourdain made me interested in eating good food and set me on a quest to cook and love good food. I learned how to cook from these people.

There must be so many people who have the same experience and have been impacted by Anthony Bourdain's love of food.

I read many of his books. I never ate Sunday Brunch again after reading Kitchen Confidential. His book on Typhoid Mary was beautifully written.

What is so shocking, I think, is that he seemed to have a lust for life. He was so warm and engaging and it seemed like he had so much.

My heart goes out to all who loved him. I sure there are many.

Rest in Peace, Anthony. You will be missed.
