Trump and His Minions on the Right Are Systematically Dismantling

Last edited Fri Jun 8, 2018, 11:06 AM - Edit history (1)

the safeguards that protect the least capable of US citizens. Raise their rents, cut off their health care, end all programs that help them get enough to eat, and enlist law enforcement to beat them down. Poor children, people of color, aged people who have no remaining resources, immigrants, and others will fall victim to this and many will simply die.

This is the Trump administration at work. We must stop these things from happening by turning out in record numbers at our polling places and electing representatives to Congress who will block and reverse these plans. It is a genuine crisis. We must join together, enlist our friends, and make the Blue Wave happen.

That is all.

Presenting a paper to the Southern Baptist Convention condemning social justice activism, saying it is Marxist, leads to abortions, evil, etc. Really ugly stuff. I don't know how he can justify his horrible attitude.

They are intent on creating a authoritative presidency. It is nothing new. They wanted to impeach Roosevelt and even went so far as creating a coup to over throw the presidency until it was uncovered. They have been spouting the bull crap of Unified Executive powers over every branch of federal government for years. It would little different than the systems in Russia and China. These why Trump has very little criticism of their abusive use of power. It is what he craves and his fellow Republican henchmen are determined to achieve. This not some wild accusation. They have followed the fascist play book line by line to suppress any resistance. The most important is the discrediting of any investigative agency that challenges their illegal actions and the silencing of the free press. Their goals have been to stack the courts with extreme conservatives who will be able to block any attempt to challenge them. If they lose any election it doesn't matter because the courts will effectively over rule any attempts by the Democrats to pass progressive legislation.

Tyrants have been doing that forever. Trump and the Right are doing that right now. By blaming "others" for the ills of society, they are getting people to sound the same cries about eliminating those "others." It's a disease that can quickly become an epidemic.

That's why the Mercers, Putin and other wealthy individuals put Trump in as US Pres was to tear down many of the rules and regulations we as an organized republic had put in place the last 75 years. That's the way a capitalistc society works.

However are they going to be able to fire the DOn when he starts to tear down the structures that keep our society going. If our system continues to breakdown Mercers will no longer be on top as we fight for the last can of beans on a ransacked grocery stores shelf. Oh Putin will be ok though.

any longer. No matter what happens, you will remain wealthy. So, those people don't really give a damn about any of it. As long as their wealth remains, nothing else matters. The only thing they oppose is the idea that they can't be wealthy any longer.

Sure Russians helped and Comey helped and that might have been the master plan.

Democrats are 2 nice and will get abused all the time. If that doesnt do it, they have serious infighting on whether its better to be ideally correct or ideally right. Small stupid nuances throw democrat votes to the bernie side or the left center.

Time for democrats to get ruthless on their ideas. or bend over again for the conservatives.

Fri Jun 8, 2018, 11:45 AM

Purity that loses an election results in outcomes that are unacceptable. We must stop doing that until we regain control of our government. Then, we can work on purity issues. Until then, only outcomes matter. If we lose, we have no control over those outcomes.

It is that simple.

It's always refreshing to read one of your original and well written posts, as opposed to a cut & paste of someone's tweets.

Having said that, I wholeheartedly agree that the Trump administration, from the Oval Office to the lowliest cabinet aide, is focused on buttering the bread of the privileged with the blood and sweat of the working class. Shame on the fools who were taken in by this carnival barker.
