How about pardoning Colin Kaepernick?
I mean, I realize he hasn't done anything wrong or been convicted of a crime, but maybe if trump pardons him, the sycophants running the NFL will let him play again.

(20,851 posts)Colin Kaepernick, "To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder."
Trump is tone deaf to the actual issue.

(10,721 posts)We must not forget or let others forget why Kaepernick started his protest. It's not about the overall criminal justice system, which is horribly racist and desperately needs changing. It's not about housing discrimination and modern day redlining, which is racist and needs to stop. It's not about fragile white folks calling cops on Black folks for no damn good reason, though doing so can certainly lead to that which Kaepernick was protesting. It's not about employment discrimination. It's not about department store clerks profiling Black patrons.
It's about police killing unarmed Black folks, including children. Period.
