Trump says NBA champion won't be invited to White House

The tradition of championship teams visiting the White House has reached an abrupt stop as players and personnel voice their concerns about Donald Trump. And now, the President is trying to shift the narrative.

Friday, Trump said that the eventual NBA champion — whether the Golden State Warriors or Cleveland Cavaliers — will not be invited to the White House, per CNN’s Jim Acosta.

Without surprise, though, this is an attempted face-save by the President. Cavaliers superstar LeBron James recently said neither team would visit anyway, something Warriors standout Stephen Curry reaffirmed.

The simple truth of the matter is Trump’s statement is akin to “You said you’re not coming to my party so you’re uninvited.”

The guy is a total jackass on display for all to see. I'm sure his mouth breathing base will lap this up, but anyone paying attention has heard or seen Lebron say neither team would go after they win several days ago. So the Dotard says "I'm not inviting the winner". Thats like having a party or wedding and when someone says they cant come you say "well I'm uninviting you from the party". Anywhere else in society this would be hysterically laughed at, but for some reason this seems like a normal thing for him.

but I have to when Trump disinvites people after they've said they don't intend to come.

"I don't want to come to your party."

"You're not invited to my party."

"You invited me last week and I RSVP'd that I wasn't coming."

"No, I didn't."

"Yes, you did."

"Well, you're not invited. And I'm not having the party anyhow."

"That's because nobody wanted to come to it."

"No, it wasn't. I'm having a special party and none of you are invited."
