and found out that he was born 1 day after I was. Literally.

Weird feeling.

He is/was very sensitive and moody (yes, we are that). He always said he is an old softy and nostalgic too. He had his hard outside (shell) but inside he was sentimental. I was stunned by the news but I understand his dark side which he often wrote and talked about...he didn't hide who he was. It wasn't about past drug use, he was a life long, self proclaimed malcontent and that is part of his nature and personality and he accepted it. I accepted that too. He will be greatly missed though. I loved his honest and worldly view...very refreshing. And man, could he nail Putin and tRump in a single sentence....humorous but accurate and insightful and biting.
