Sorry Malcolm Nance

The US also invaded a sovereign country, killed about a million people, and destabilized an entire region and you know what - that country wasn't close to it's borders.

Russia and Crimea and the US and Iraq are not even close but you never mention the latter.

He could not understand where the Bush admin was coming up with their info and his superior asked him if he was finding anything to square with what they were saying because he could not.

They died as a result of the sectarian violence that resulted when we removed the dictator Saddam Hussein from power which unleashed the Shia backlash against years of suppression by the ruling minority.

The full account of dead was never formalized... the number is clearly over 100,000 but 1 million may be too high (there were only 25 million Iraqi citizens before the invasion).

That would be a fair statement for sure.

Most of those Iraqis were not killed by the US though.

Iraq conflict has killed a million Iraqis: survey

LONDON (Reuters) - More than one million Iraqis have died as a result of the conflict in their country since the U.S.-led invasion in 2003, according to research conducted by one of Britain’s leading polling groups. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-iraq-deaths-survey/iraq-conflict-has-killed-a-million-iraqis-survey-idUSL3048857920080130
