neocon manifest destiny attitude? He sat alone in a chair in the middle of the floor and required others to come to him. He believed it every bit as much as Trump.

Poor Tony Blair humiliated himself by coaxing and schmoozing W's ego to get things done -- in service to UK and the alliance -- which was anything but appreciated back home.

40 plus yrs ago in my first college teaching job, I had a student who had already flunked the course twice. He sat in the back row with his arms crossed and an eerily similar expression on his face just daring me to teach him anything!

Both arms are folded together across the chest as an attempt to put a barrier between the person and someone or something they don't like. ... The arms crossed on chest gesture is universal and is decoded with the same defensive or negative meaning almost everywhere.

Trump: Bolton tells me it's eight, so it's eight. I don't care what your fancy calculators tell you.

The look on Merkel's face tells the story.

Merkel: "Just who in the fuck do you think you are? You need to grow up and act like a man, you porky little weasel. This group can completely break your country economically, you truculent little slimy bastard. Not sit down, shut up, and let the adults get some work done. Stop being such an asshole."

tRump: "I'm off in my happy place! I'm not listening to you...deedle deedle...we'll see what happens...just another witch hunt...no collusion! Wait until I tell Vlad about how I stood up to her while sitting on my fat ass."

Bolton (thinking): "Wow! She's on a roll...maybe she'll actually manage to free us all from this orange horror."
