3. That's an absurd interpretation

Before ICE was created under the Department of Homeland Security, it was in multiple other agencies. Blowing up customs and the entire immigration bureaucracy (including the services that allow for naturalization) would be utterly incompetent.

5. So reorganize.

Scatter the responsibilities back into the departments from whence they came, or at least make an effort in that direction. But the division of ICE that is empowered to "round up" undocumented immigrants, and to rip crying children from their parents' arms--THAT division needs to go.

Also, the bullshit about the "judges" who are supposed to hear the cases of each asylum seeker, and rule on it in a matter of minutes, sometimes ruling on the disposition of minors who are not capable of pleading their own case and are not provided with an advocate to do it for them; and the fact that these "judges" have to fill a quota to send "enough" immigrants and refugees back to the countries from which they fled...THAT shit has GOT TO GO!
