In case you're wondering why Mueller is so slow.

The 315 people connected to the Russia probes

A POLITICO analysis of court documents, congressional letters, public testimony and media reports reveals that the investigations into the 2016 election and its aftermath now involve hundreds of people in Washington, Moscow and around the world.

Some names sound familiar, like Stephen Bannon and Donald Trump Jr., but most don’t. Taken together, they illuminate the way federal investigators are assembling the pieces of the Russia puzzle.

Let’s look at Team Trump
82 associated with his 2016 campaign
46 are lawyers
35 are current or former Trump administration officials
26 served on the transition team
14 have ties to the Trump Organization

The probes have also touched 75 foreign nationals including 56 people with direct ties to Russia.

The list includes

Christopher Steele, former British intelligence officer and author of disputed Trump-Russia dossier
Natalia Veselnitskaya, Russian lawyer who approached Trump campaign officials promising dirt on Hillary Clinton
Sergey Kislyak, former Russian ambassador to the U.S.

So far the majority of those involved — 192 — have a role in inquiries concerning alleged Russian outreach and connections to Trump.

Relatively few — 44 — have been touched by the parallel probes into potential obstruction of justice by the president or those close to him.

Litigation and investigation take forever. Mueller is moving fast by legal world standards

Bobby Three Sticks may not talk publicly about this case, but I'm sure he's aware enough of what's going on out here, that he couldn't help but know to hurry up. At least I hope so.

Plus, Mueller is very methodical, particular and careful.

He wants the case to be completely airtight and irrefutable.

because every day trump surprises us by proving he can be even more of an idiot, mobster, traitor, pervert, etc. He makes us the laughing stock of the world while we watch America being dismantled.

years.

It’s time for Mueller to release a report — call it a draft or whatever — well before the November elections of what he’s found and where he thinks it will all go. I really don’t care if trump is impeached or indicted years later. He needs to be neutered ASAP, even if by Dems blowing GOPers out of House. If he’s still looking for enough on trump directly, time to know that too.

Learned my lesson with Fitzgerald.

8. A draft report that couldn't lead to impeachment would only tip Mueller's hand,

and make it easier for DT to defend himself.

That is absolutely not what Mueller should do.

14. If he doesn't have enough on trump now, he never will. For all we know this is Fitzmas II.

I don't understand why folks think Mueller wakes up every morning bent on indicting trump.

Most importantly, every minute trump remains in office or GOPers control both chambers of Congress, we sink further. A report after the 2018 election -- perhaps years later -- does us no good other than being able to say, "Well after he wrecked America, they finally indicted trump, but he got off because not enough votes in Senate convict (if still in office) or the jury included 4 white wingers who hung the jury (if indicted after he is out of office). But by god we showed him."

Further, the longer it goes, the more likely people will say the charges were trumped up.

16. No, for all we know already this is NOT Fitzmas. There have already been 20 indictments.

And you don't seem to have any idea how long it takes to build complicated cases like this. This is like taking down an organized crime family, which Mueller does have experience in -- he took down the Gambino family. But it took years, starting from the bottom and working his way up.

And this is a case even bigger than that -- the Trump mob has tentacles all over the world.

18. That's not up to Mueller -- it's up to us to get the vote out in November,

allowing him the support for doing his job.

There's no way Trump will be impeached under the current Congress, so putting out a report now could completely backfire. There could be a quick impeachment action, the Senate would fail to convict, and then what -- it would be like a vaccine. Trump would have survived an impeachment attempt. Congress would never attempt another one. We have one shot and only one shot at this.

the more confidant I am that he's got something very serious on Trump. The greater the effort, the bigger the prize.

The Mueller team has to be thorough.

I hope once the world knows the truth that our government doesn’t drop the ball the way they often do.

I hope Mueller will take take it out of Congress’s hands and puts the burden more on the Judicial branch and the US state courts.

11. Every time Mueller peels away one layer of corruption...

and criminality, he uncovers dozens of other layers of corruption and criminality. Everything Trump is connected with is so rife with corruption and criminals it's almost impossible to keep up. I commend Mueller for not throwing his hands in the air and saying, "I quit! There are just too many criminals involved". It has to be exasperating. Trump is a one man crime wave. Nothing he does is on the correct side of the law.
