Top White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow suffered a heart attack Monday and is at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, President Trump said.
Earlier today, Kudlow experienced what his doctors say was a very mild heart attack. Larry is currently in good condition at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and his doctors expect he will make a full and speedy recovery, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement. She added that Trump and other officials send their thoughts and prayers to Larry and his family.
Kudlows wife, Judith Kudlow, told The Washington Post in a brief conversation Monday evening that her husband was doing well and recovering.

(102,292 posts)NON-recoverable and surely some require more intense intervention than others, but all are damned serious. It is a myocardial infarction, after all--a loss of blood flow to a part of the heart leading to death of that portion of cells/tissue.
I know this is meant to "reassure", but it still annoys me. And worse, using this terminology leads to some patients NOT doing what is necessary to avoid another, potentially fatal and/or more devastating . But, then in a world where Trump--a walking health disaster--is referred to as "excellent" and "fit for duty for the remainder of his term and into the next" ... should not surprise us.
Not wishing Kudlow anything but a return to health, mind you, but this is just a nagging annoyance to me, having seen so many go on to drop dead following their accustomed bad diet and exercise habits when they were "reassured" they only had a "mild heart attack".
