(45,457 posts)Damn, maybe some of these cops should be considered guilty until proven innocent. That's the American way of justice and due process these days, right?

(47,558 posts)When a cop breaks the law, I want the at least same thing to happen to him as would happen to me if I broke the same law.
If there was any justice, a criminal cop's punishment would be more severe. But I'd be willing to settle for equal consequences.

(18,470 posts)Punishment for government employees who misbehave should be so God awful that no government employee will ever dare use his or her position to break the law. And it should be 1,000 times worse for government employees who see their colleagues do evil and say nothing.

That means arrested, go to jail, bail out or await trial, and if convicted, the same jail sentence I'd get if I did the same thing the cop did. Theft. Assault. Manslaughter. Murder. Same sentence I would get.
