5. I have a sickening feeling growing in my stomach...

I remember (vaguely) the early years of Reagan and the "scandals" that would surely be the idiotic fool's undoing...then 1984 happened, and the largest Electoral College wipe out in history befell the Democratic Party and shoved us into the hinterlands for an additional 8 years of GOP free-for-all scandals. Not only did the party fail to beat the inept Reagan and his criminal cabal, we got ass beat like never before...history is happening again...

No one cares as long as two things are true: 1) their paychecks are coming in...even if they are afraid they may stop soon, as long as they are coming in every Friday or every 2 weeks, the vast, vast majority of Americans do not care about ANYTHING else (maybe getting drunk or high on Friday and Saturday nights...maybe)...and 2) it is not a woman or minority in power over the country's policies.

Everything else - "values", "morals", "pro-this / anti-that", you name it...- EVERYTHING else barely registers with people whose attention spans have been whittled down to 240 characters or about 3 seconds before they start to glaze over and forget why anything should matter to them.

Trump is going to win re-election and there is almost nothing that can stop that from happening because this is a nation over-run with imbeciles and morons who are not only stupid and inept, they are greedy, mean-spirited, incurious and capricious and the only thing that they hate MORE than women and minorities is being told just how stupid they truly are...

We need a revolution to reclaim the American experiment from the dustbin of history, and it is starting to look like we need it much faster than many assumed just 17 months ago.
