Speculation re Trump/NK
This whole North Korea thing is so wrong in so many ways, and I won't repeat them here. Suffice it to say, it makes me ill. Concentration camps, gulags, murdering family members, inducing famine, international computer hacking, currency violations, nuclear program violations.
But until his moronic reference to beaches, I didn't give any thought to the real estate angle.
That's what this is about, isn't it? Real estate. Tourism. The vile Trump name on hotels and golf courses in North Korea. Not soon, maybe, but this con man has been at this game for 50 years. He definitely takes the long view. And since he's gotten away with everything so far in his 70 years, he figures this is a no-brainer even if it will be his youngest son who reaps the long-term returns.
