trump has some 'splaining to do.

So, Mr. Dumbass, how do you explain your condemnation of Navy Commander John McCain vs. your adulation of college student Otto Warmbier?

McCain: Captured and became a 5 1/2 year POW after being shot down flying a war mission over Hanoi. Suffered every atrocity imaginable at the hands of the North Vietnamese. Refused to be released from captivity if it meant leaving behind fellow American prisoners.

"I like people who weren't captured."

Warmbier: Arrested in North Korea in January 2016 for attempted theft of a propaganda poster, for which he was sentenced to 15 years' imprisonment. Upon return to the U.S., a coroner's report was unable to identify the cause of the injury that reportedly caused him to fall into a coma, finding no obvious evidence of physical torture on Warmbier's body.

“Without Otto Warmbier, this summit wouldn’t have happened,” the President said. “Otto is someone who did not die in vain.”

Not to denigrate Otto Warmbier, but how does trump justify, in any shape or form, mocking the documented heroism of Commander John McCain? Both captured, both held - one for service to his country and one for alledged theft - yet the latter is the hero in trump's misguided opinion.

that's the problem right there. if it were just "Donald Trump said", the situation is normal -- annoying, but normal. instead, with the help of Russian intelligence agencies, we put one of the biggest hoaxster con-men ever to spring from his cursed mother's loins at the head of our nation, and now he's tearing it down to sell for spare parts while he tells us how Great we are. now the vapid bullshit that spews continuously from his anus-like mouth must be reported as if it had credibility beyond the tabloids.

and that's what's wrong with this picture.

Cowardly. And the whole republican party lets their misleader piss on our POWs and veterans. Sick.
