Thought I would start a thread for DU'ers who might like to disavow the comments of the our dear leader.

Thank you for Mario Lemieux and Sidney Crosby and the chance to party with Lord Stanley's Cup 5 times.

I've also had the pleasure of working with Canadian military officers and they were great.

Please remember that Trump does not equal Americans.

and Putin probably doesn't equal most Russians. Nonetheless we are becoming part of that "axis of evil" whether we like it or not.

He used to be the Canadian ambassador to the USA, and I think he is smart enough to know how most of us feel, but he said thanks all the same!

4. Dear Canada, be afraid!

This is a time that you should be looking for ways to protect yourself. Trump is capable of anything and you should not treat his threats as empty. He wants to harm your country now because of a personal issue he has with your leader. And as you watch our Democracy falter, know that although the American people are with you, our leadership is crazy enough to do real harm to you.
