North Korea returned 3 American Hostages. Doesn't Trump Deserve Some Credit?

I get that bullshit line from Trump supporters a lot lately. Here's my response;

"If some asshole kidnapped my kid and only to return her to me 3 years later, where I come from, he'd deserve at least a punch in the face, not a reward."

1. This was addressed very well by a professor from Tufts University. I think he is Korean.

His position was that the hostages have generally been returned at some point anyway and Kim really had no use for them other than to save them for a PR move.

To me it is like your neighbor stealing your lawn mower and bringing it back three years later, out of gas.
