Now ATT will own DirecTV AND spectrum, along with all the other subsidiaries and things that come with it.

There are very few choices as it is for cable/satellite, and they are being eaten up quickly. All this decision does in my opinion, is make it that much easier to get to near monopoly status.

This is another giant windfall for huge corporations, and probably considered a "win" by the likes of Ajit Pai and Michael Cohen...
