I remember former French president Jacques Chirac, while visiting the Paris International Agricultural Show, was addressed by a man who told him "Connard !" (dickhead!)

Chirac walked up to him, shook his hand, and replied "Glad to meet you M. Dickhead, my name is Jacques Chirac"

This is what I would call class.
